msg to space!!!

We use different methods for communication.We sms through phones, we send e-mails,greetings and so on.But these all have proper reciepients(either known one or an unknown person).but is it possible to send message to a place where we are not quite sure about the location and even of the reciepient??yeah with the help of Bebo(social n/w ing site) its possible, that is we can send message to space:):)(its quite astonishing,isn’t it?).An interstellar radio telescope normally used to detect asteroids that could hit Earth is being taken off duty Oct 9 to transmit messages from Bebo users into space.The messages are expected to reach a recently discovered planet in 2029(takes nearly 20 years to reach!!). They will be sent from a telescope of the Russian National Space Agency in Ukraine.Seems users can send messages and 500 best messages among them will be selected by Bebo users to be sent into space.This project is named as A Message From Earth and the target planet is Gliese 581c.It is found that the temperature in Gliese 581c is right for liquid water on its surface, thus potentially capable of supporting life as we know it.

It would be nice to receive a msg from that side too:).

visit to auroville

As i said in previous post i was visiting relative houses two weeks back. At that time along with two of my cousins i visited auroville, a township  near Podicherry. It was some ten minutes ride from ECR road(have to cut after PEC), and the ride was wonderful as on both sides there were only trees and not much of human occupation. The main aim of this place is to make one realize  human unity. V visited  matri mandir, which is in middle of the town. It consists of a huge spherical ball like structure whose outer layer is made of gold plates(it was amazing to see it). This is situated in such a way that it is surrounded by vast area containing grass and trees. seems there are 12 divisons each serving for different reasons like unity and so on. in one place sand from all our states and from more than 150 countries have been brought and put as a symbol for unity. We entered the spherical structure without knowing tat we are going to see a marvellous interior side of the building. wherever we turn everything is made of marble, then we were taken to a big hall were meditation is done. The speciality of that room is that a ray of light which falls on a small globe like structure from the top,is the only source of light for entire hall. then it was cool though no air conditioners ware present(guess water would be allowed to circulate surrounding the walls of the hall).couldnt forget those 15 minutes in my life.So guys if u are visiting pondicherry do try to visit this beautiful place and enjoy your day.For more info search auroville in wikipedia.

May 23rd 2007 is one of the important day in my life,the day in which i got selected in tcs. it has done lots of good in my life and i owe lots of thanks to my company. I was able to enjoy the remaining college days with bit of security(assurance). And now as still waiting for call letter have visited few of my relative houses and enjoying last long leave.another thing is that i started driving car from this february, hav driven in highways and in city too.But was afraid to ride bike for quite few years, though i learnt to ride during tenth standard itself(dunno the reason), as i am in home for nearly two months i used to drop dad in railway station in morning, drop sister in school for few days(special classes),drop mom when she needed to go nearby areas in bike.like this i got practice and gained confidence as i started to drive car wherever we went.Now whether it be beach or to part time job am going by bike only . but  on the other side it started to bore as the saying goes ‘too much of anything is good for nothing’. Expecting the call letter and also tired of seeing tv and lots of films it is too tough.

We all think about working harder or smarter to be successful. But in that process we fail to think about what should we do if there are some unexpected obstacles comes in our path. Its quite natural that we don think about negatives when we are too positive, though its a plus sign it can lead us into trouble(of getting shocked or stunned ). It would be like we are caught up in midst of thick forest or so. i have experienced this few times, thats why am saying it here. coming to matter now am reading ‘Ignited minds’ after reading little of ‘wings of fire’. In these books Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam would have said about his dream and vision of India becoming a superpower. He would have said many reasons why it can happen and where its lagging and so on. Upon reading it one can realize his dream is not only a dream but can be an achievable one. While i haven’t completed reading this book the bombings in Bangalore and Ahmedabad has taken place and shocked entire nation. Y this disturbance, and where these kind of things are leading to?? One side improvement works are being done and in other side things like this too are happening.Was really shocked to hear the news as it took place in many places. lets hope that silence will be restored and people against it are punished as early as possible.

chennai to madurai

I had my schooling in alpha mat.hr .sec school,chennai. After that decided to pursue my B.E in TCE madurai.  Apart from the great name that my college had  another reason made me to choose it is to enjoy hostel life. Since  childhood i hadn’t had close friends near my home(so couldnt spend much time with frens). That made me to take a bold decision of leaving such a city and going to madurai.  AS i expected hostel life was whole lots of fun  and in other hand had many  useful experiences too.  It also made me to realize that every person must try to live in hostel at least once to know more about life. The shoppings v went, temples v went(often initially and rarely as days progressed:)),of course important thing films(would see in first few days of release itself) all add to my happy days there. In hostel which was our second home v had some gr8 facilities like browsing,recreation hall with big screen, and so on. Above all any time we can check in and check out of hostel.The time spent with friends in ma room and others room are memorable and everlasting ones. More than missing the college, i missed my hostel days a lot(since the time i spent in coll is too less wen compared to that of in hostel ). . . Miss u Tce mens hostel. .. . .

untold desires

One of my desire which will not happen is that i taking photos with small kids where ever i meet them. Though it seems silly this thought has been arising whenever i see cute children. Then next one is to have a pet at my home,but since v living in a flat it was left as a dream itself. V had a pet named zippy in my grandma house,but it died some ten years ago. It was really a terrible loss since i liked it very much and i used to play with it. I haven’t travelled in a/c coach in train. Once during my school tour few of us where asked by one railway personnel not to enter into a/c coach while the train was halted(the train hadn’t started its journey), a that time one of my friend said guys what this man say, lets earn and take our family in this a/c coach. Wat a desire for him at such young age, and i still didn’t forget his wordings and(hope will fulfill it soon ).

I am sairam sundararaman. I have successfully completed computer science engineering in Thiagarajar college of engg,madurai. Got selected in TCS and now eagerly awaiting for call letter. Here in the upcoming posts i would like to say few of my interesting experiences and various thoughts that had been wandering in my mind for quite long time. Some things might be different and even funny too:). Above all humour is important for a healthy life ,isnt it??
